Join the Whitten-Newman ExplorOlogy® Program at the Sam Noble Museum for an innovative professional development experience!
This 4-day science investigation is geared towards teachers who want to incorporate science more effectively into their classroom.
Science Institute will engage teachers:
- In designing and conducting scientific investigations, including understanding how to develop testable hypotheses, collect and analyze data, and interpret and communicate results of their investigations.
- In the use of interpretation in the classroom setting.
- In using a variety of technologies (including laptop computers, video camcorders, digital cameras, scientific probes) to collect data, analyze, graph and communicate scientific results.
- In adapting their current curricula to include more student inquiry.
